In a testament to their scope, they hired architect Michael Kovac to assist. With Michael’s help, and their own exquisite taste, they transformed the interior into a modern sanctuary. The dialogue between the two styles is seamless and memorable. In practical terms the house offers two comfortable main bedroom suites, two home offices, two family rooms, a media room, a gym, and a guest house. The views of the Pacific Ocean and the Canyon are intoxicating. The indoor/outdoor flow from the kitchen to the gardens, the California pool, the outdoor dining, kitchen, and the guest house all embrace the quintessential California lifestyle. Some of the owners and residents included Salka & Berthold Viertel, Daniel Mann, and Gordon Davidson. Through decades, the house hosted many memorable salons and get-togethers. The garage is used as storage and is not included in the lease.
